Summer Beauty Essentials

Each season brings the chance to try new products and re-evaluate my beauty routine. Long gone are the days of sticking to one regiment throughout the year and only using one brand. It makes my heart so happy to see the transparency and popularity of natural beauty products on the market, at all price points! Summer calls for lighter products that protect the skin from UV rays. Below are a few summer beauty products that have been making it into my routine (and a few I want to try still!) Let me know if you have any new favorites to share!

Dr Roebucks Down Under Collagen Boosting Eye Treatment // Dr Roebuck’s is a new to me brand, but I have to tell you I am LOVING this eye cream. The collagen boosting properties brighten the under eye area and I’ve noticed my dark circles looking less pronounced. Definitely a winner!

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum // A trusty favorite of mine, this super-potent vitamin C day serum is packed with a powerful antioxidant complex, essential nutrients, fruit enzymes, and a chronopeptide that mimics the antioxidant benefits of vitamin D, all working together to firm and brighten the appearance of skin, while improving the signs of photoaging! WOO! I apply it in the morning, evenly over my face, neck, and chest.

KORRES Black Pine Day Cream // This moisturizer is slightly thicker, but feels lightweight and is easy to layer under CC cream or a foundation. All KORRES Black Pine Formulas are boosted with potent black Pine extract from trees in the Mediterranean that have survived even the ice age – super high tech beauty product here!

Coola Sun Silk Drops // I use this every day with no fail. It’s super fast-absorbing and lightweight UV protection that helps mitigate the effects of today’s modern-world skin-aggressors – High Energy Visible light (which includes blue light emitted from digital devices), IR (infrared) and pollution – because we don’t have enough to worry about! I dispense into the palm of my hand and apply evenly across face and neck using upward strokes. You can also blend it with your everyday skincare and makeup!

Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer // A new product find for the season! It gives off the perfect beachy, radiant, lit-from-within, soft-focus, hydrated skin we all strive for. I wear this on days I don’t want to wear much make-up, but need a little glow!

Supergoop! Shimmershade Cream Eye Shadow // Yay for clean make-up that works! This shadow is subtle and beautiful. It’s one of the first to have SPF 30 to keep your eyes pretty and protected from the sun. Simply swipe with your finger, then pat into place for a lit-from-within look. You can wear on its own for a natural glow, or layer it for a more pigmented look (it’s buildable!)

Glossier Bom Dotcom // Loving the mango color! A hydrating, long-lasting, multipurpose lip balm and skin salve that’s packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to nourish and repair dry, chafed skin. Do I need to say more?

Dr. Dennis Gross Glow Pads // Haven’t tried these yet, but on my list! I feel like no matter what I get awkward tan lines and these will be perfect to even out that tan! They’re exfoliating and anti-aging self-tanner pads with active vitamin D that firms, smoothes bumpy skin and helps reduce hair growth. They work for all skin types, vegan, and cruelty-free! I would recommend washing and exfoliating before applying to get the best results.

Kersastase Nutritive Magic Night Serum // Kersastase is one of my go-to hair products. This night serum is mean to be left in overnight where it works its magic by nurturing and detangling hair while you sleep. Perfect to use after a day in the sun!

Henry Rose Perfume // The price tag is a little heavy on this perfume, but it’s the first fine fragrances to be both EWG Verified™ and Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Gold! I had no idea how many chemicals and questionable ingredients were in our fragrances. Henry Rose is definitely changing the industry standards and worth trying out!
